The New Year's bell has rung, and we are delighted to step into the brand new year of 2025 with our compatriots from Manchuria across the globe. Looking back on the past year, we have collectively weathered storms and witnessed the seeds of hope take root and sprout in the fertile Black Earth.

As our spiritual home on the internet, Black Soil Brotherhood carries and spreads the shared bonds of our common native land, consistently upholding a resolute local-first narrative to speak out for our fellow natives. Regardless of how the times shift, what we hold is a deep love for this land and a deep-seated identity with the culture of Manchuria, which was particularly noteworthy in the year just passed.
In 2024, we may have experienced confusion, disappointment, and criticism, or perhaps hardship, but we never stopped pursuing our ideals. We are gratified to see that more and more people from Manchuria are awakening, re-examining their identity and culture, and reclaiming the pride and confidence we had long lost; an increasing number of compatriots have found us through various means, embarking with us on this localist journey of self-discovery (roots-seeking journey). As advocated on our website, we are committed to forging local consciousness and uniting every compatriot from our hometown who yearns for change, to jointly contribute to the revitalization of Manchuria. And these efforts have already begun to show initial results in just the half-year since our establishment.
2025 marks a new starting point, a new journey. Let us move forward in solidarity, taking more determined steps on the path to revival. In the new year, we will delve deeper into our history and culture, ensuring our voice is heard by more people, our demands receive greater attention and recognition, and our circle of friends continues to grow. We believe that through unremitting efforts, 2025 will be a crucial year for the renewed takeoff of Manchuria.
