However, the development of any matter is always accompanied by contradictions, and the expansion of the organization’s scale inevitably leads to the infiltration of hostile elements and opportunists with ulterior motives into the national self-determination cause. We must be vigilant and keep our eyes wide open in this regard.

This article will briefly and plainly define ‘Fake Manchurian Separatist’ groups and individuals, providing a reference for compatriots involved in the national self-determination movement.

1. Obsessed with Creating Division and Conflict

Fake Manchurian Separatists often like to label their colleagues, and this mudslinging is usually aimed at entire groups. This easily leads to online compatriots misunderstanding or even attacking each other. Whether Chinese imperialists are involved behind the scenes is difficult to say.

2. Political Asylum as the Fundamental Motivation

These Fake Manchurian Separatists are typically not Manchurians at all, may have never even left the area south of the Shanhai Pass, and can barely speak the Manchurian dialect. They frequently use insulting terms like “Manchurian bastard,” “Nikan,” and “old geezer” to attack the local people, harboring intense hostility towards the local way of life. They have often been disconnected from the local area for a long time or are originally people from south of the Shanhai Pass.

4. Self-Centered with Double Standards

Fake Manchurian Separatists habitually put themselves at the center, have extremely low empathy for others, and operate with double standards. What they like is Manchurian; what they dislike is Chinese. Their pathological narcissism makes them fantasize about being the ‘leader’ and ‘savior,’ believing that all Manchurians must believe in them to be saved.

5. Exaggerate and Engage in Empty Grandstanding

Fake Manchurian Separatist organizations are skilled at ‘hype.’ Shaking hands with an overseas government official becomes ‘diplomacy’; buying a few guns overseas to play around with becomes ‘military training.’ An old local term for this is: [Qióng Dèse] (Showy despite being poor). They are lost in their fantasies and further detached from real society.

6. Constantly Antagonize Others and Provoke Conflicts

Fake Manchurian Separatists are hostile towards almost anyone whose views differ from their own, not to mention outsiders. They like to use the banner of Manchuria to create enemies, attacking other groups online and dragging down the international image of Manchurians. It is highly possible that the Chinese authorities are involved in this, and the impact is extremely negative.

7. Participate in the Self-Determination Movement to Seek Personal Gain

Fake Manchurian Separatists like to sell ‘passports,’ ‘citizenships,’ and ‘certificates,’ or even trick compatriots into ‘real-name registration.’ Manchurian identity is absolutely not something that can be obtained for a few dozen dollars. These fees often go entirely into the personal pockets of the Fake Manchurian Separatist organization’s leaders, meaning nothing for the progress of the national self-determination cause.

8. Promote Extremist Ideology

Fake Manchurian Separatists habitually promote extremist ideologies. These ideologies are often built on the premise of making one group’s status supreme and persecuting another group. Extremist ideology severely hinders the development of the self-determination cause and will broaden disputes between various groups, thereby achieving the Fake Manchurian Separatists’ goal of dividing Manchurians.

9. Refuse to Accept Criticism
